The study aimed to determine the effect of active learning strategies in higher-order thinking skills Grade 10 students Dr. Panfilo Castro National High School during Year 2020-2021. One hundred (100) selected grade were used as respondents study, including pre-test and post-test experimental design. first group was exposed case-based learning, second visual–organization activity. A validated sixty (60) item test significant differences scores two groups. found out that pretest groups their critical creative same, indicating have lowperformance levels before subjecting treatment. both showed improvement after Likewise, a difference groups' terms skills.
